You asked for wide fit shoes...

From the days well before I bought the brand Ruby Shoo back when I was just a retailer of the brand one of the main gripes people had were that the shoes were only available in standard fit.   On my takeover of the brand I knew that I had to do something about this- we want an inclusive brand that doesn't make people squeeze into shoes that don't fit them, and also don't want to exclude wider-footed ladies from being able to buy pretty and beautiful shoes.  On visiting the factory we use to produce I decided to make it my mission to get them to agree to do a wide fit.  It turned out that this is not an easy feat- it's expensive- new lasts have to be developed and made and we are a small independent brand in a sea of 'big boys'.  Our shoes are intricate and difficult to make - many factories wouldn't even touch our designs because they are fiddly and time consuming.  So I had to go on the charm offensive... with much fluttering of eyelashes and many promises of working super-dooper hard to be able to put in bigger orders in the future.  So your wish is our command- we now have a wide fit in ALL of the new AW25 styles- thankyou eyelashes and thankyou factory.  So our shoes are now available in size UK3 to UK9 in both a standard and a wide fit.  This season has predominantly been about going back to the Ruby Shoo core offering which was occasion shoes with matching bags.  We have widened our colour options and are well on the way to having different heel options in each colour.  Our shoes all have an indulgence insole, so not only are the shoes wide fit, they are also supportive and cushioned.

Ultimate comfort is achieved by using five specially developed layers. A flexible sole provides a stable base that moves with the foot. Next, we ensure that the arch of the foot is supported at the correct angle. A firm insole board give the shoes stability whilst a soft spongy insert cushions the ball of the foot. High resistance memory foam is used to provide comfort wear after wear. A final softer memory foam insock finishes the layers of padding and contours the individual wearers foot. The comfort padding reduces pressure on the ball of the foot to make standing, dancing, walking or whatever you are doing in your Ruby Shoos, more comfortable for longer. Flexible soles move with you. With the Ruby Shoo Indulgence collection, you really can wear heels all day!
